Red Rose is an eight-part horror series commissioned by Fiona Campbell, Controller of BBC Three and Piers Wenger, Controller of BBC Drama. It is co-produced by Eleven (Sex Education, The Enfield Haunting).

After a series of tests, Ricardo settled on a package based around Sony Venice & Cooke Anamorphics. The pace & shooting style of the show demanded Zoom lens options for which we invested in Angenieux's Optimo 42-420mm Zoom. This recently introduced lens has even less distortion than the popular 44-440, minimal breathing and is one of the lightest and most compact anamorphic zooms of its range.
